Social Impact

For Alışan Logistics, being a “good company” is equivalent to being a “good person / responsible citizen”. Being kind-hearted and conscientious means providing support, as much as we can financially and spiritually, to leave a better world for future generations. For this reason, as one of the 500 largest companies in our country, we have been working with all our might to fulfill our corporate social responsibility since our establishment. Believing that it will make a difference for our country, we take care to ensure that each project we carry out shoulder to shoulder with our employees and leaders is sustainable; we are happy to be in the hearts of each target audience we touch with our projects.

Alışan Carries Happiness 

We believe that sustainable development in economy and social life will be possible with the active participation of women, who constitute half of the population, in all areas of life. This forms the backbone of all social responsibility projects of Alışan Logistics.

In our “Alışan Carries Happiness” project, which we launched in Tunceli in 2020 and then continued in Ardahan and Erzurum, reaching more than 500 students in total, we provide support for the education of girls, especially through regular mentoring and/or needs lists with our in-house employees. The aim of the project is to be a role model for female entrepreneurs in the East of our country who struggle to receive education with limited resources.

Ayşe Sıdıka Alışan Primary School



Within the scope of the project to support women's education, in which our company took part in important initiatives, we opened Ayşe Sıdıka Alışan Primary School in the 2006-2007 academic year within the framework of the "100% Support for Education Project" in the Gebze District of Kocaeli. Our school, built on an area of 500 m², has a closed construction area of 2,000 m². We continue to undertake many important projects together with the students of our 24-classroom school.

Hand in Hand with the United Nations


As Alışan Logistics, within the framework of the importance we give to women's employment, we are also among the first Turkish companies to sign and take as a guide the WEPs (Women's Empowerment Principles), one of the global and most important initiatives of the private sector, which is carried out by the United Nations on a global basis and aims to ensure that women are included and empowered in economic life in all sectors and at all levels. WEPs is a joint initiative of UN Women and the UN Global Compact.

WOMEN'S EMPLOYMENT


We have broken new ground in the sector in terms of women's employment, and we continue to do so. For example, the first female stacking machine operator in the Logistics Sector was trained within our company.  Increasing our female employment day by day with our “Women-Friendly Brand” title is among our biggest goals.
